This group may be a good fit if you:
Are an LCMHCA practicing in North Carolina
Have active clients to discuss in supervision
Want clinical consultation and connection with other early-career counselors
Already have a Board-approved individual licensure supervisor
What we’ll talk about:
Developing your niche: identifying strengths, specializations, and certifications
Managing your caseload and clinical capacity
Collaboration, consultation, and reducing professional isolation
The person and the therapist: what you bring into the room consciously and unconsciously
Wellness, burnout prevention, and sustainable boundaries
What to know before you join:
Group supplements individual supervision. You must already have a Board-approved individual supervisor and keep that contract for the full group. Your individual supervisor stays your primary and crisis contact.
Hours count only with a Board-approved contract with me in place before January 29.
Full attendance, on time, cameras on. Joining late or leaving early means no hours for that session.
You’ll present at least one recorded session, so your client consent needs to allow review by a supervision group.
Joining is a commitment to all eight sessions. One absence is free. After that, every remaining session is charged whether or not you attend.
How to Join:
Book a 15-minute consult by December 4. We’ll talk about your goals and make sure the group fits. (Select: Consultation)
Complete your enrollment packet in SimplePractice, including a card on file.
Sign the NC Board supervision contract & submit it to the Board by December 18.
Receive Board approval before January 29.
Watch for orientation details the week of January 22.
